We seal the drain outlet of the area being tested — a balcony, bathroom floor, shower base, or roof — and flood it with a measured depth of water for a fixed period, typically 24 to 48 hours. Moisture meters and, where needed, thermal imaging confirm whether water is passing through the membrane, the screed, or a junction point, and exactly where.
