A blockage can sit anywhere from a sink trap to the main line, and the right approach depends on where it is:
- Kitchen sink blockages — grease, food waste and soap build-up
- Bathroom and floor drain blockages — hair, soap scum and debris
- Main line blockages affecting multiple fixtures at once
- External and yard drain blockages, including after heavy rain
How we diagnose a stubborn blockage
Most blockages clear with standard drain-clearing equipment. When the cause isn't obvious, or a blockage keeps coming back, we use a CCTV drain inspection camera to see exactly what's happening inside the line before recommending a fix.
When a blockage signals a bigger issue
Recurring blockages, gurgling drains, or a persistent bad odor can point to a pipe or venting problem rather than a simple clog. If that's the case, we'll tell you plainly what we found and what it would take to fix properly, rather than just clearing the symptom.
